iPad Air has reached the India stores in the first week of December and is considered as the main

Design & Display
iPad Air has got smooth metal finish and is 7.5 mm in thicknes which is about 20% thinner than its
previous product. iPad Air has got 9.7” Retina display of 2048×1536 pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Note has got metallic rim around the edge of the phone body but the back is covered
with plastic. Samsung Galaxy Note comes with rich color display along with a LCD screen with resolution
of 2560×1600 and 229 ppi pixel density.
Processor & Storage
IPad Air from Apple is the only tablet in the industry that has got 64-bit chipset thus making it much
more efficient and faster than its previous ones. A co-processor M7 has been used in Apple’s iPad Air
so that device is able to do some independent jobs. iPad Air has got 1 G RAM and is available in four
varieties like 16 GB, 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is available in two varieties i.e. LTE model and 3 G model. Both these models
have 3 GB RAM and has 16 GB, 32 GB and 64 GB storage facilities. This device has an option of microSD
card slot in it.
Apple iPad Air uses v7.9 iOS as the operating system and comes with a control centre like Notification
Feature, AirDrop, enhanced Siri, real-time photo editing, iTunes Radio etc.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 uses Android v4.2 Jelly Bean as the operating system. It comes with new
keyboard design, several notification options and better language support.
